Q50 heated steering wheel swap possible?

Would it it be possible to swap the Q50 steering wheel with the G37 coupe (2013) and somehow get the heating option to work?

With enough time and money anything is possible That being said, the Q50's heated steering wheel is controlled by the ecm, so I would imagine it is very difficult to retrofit that into a V36.

Short answer, no it's not a practical swap.

Read someone saying the Q50 heated steering wheel is very uneven in regards to where it gets warm.

Kinda defeats the purpose at that point!

The heated steering wheel in my I35 was leaps and bounds better than the one in the q50. The Q50 wheel is only heated on the sides and not top and bottom. I do miss that hot *** steering wheel though…

I have a 2012 M and I LOVE the heated steering wheel, the only place it's uneaven is where the spokes meet the out wheel. Either the spokes act as a heat sync or the heat coils aren't there. It's a non issue though .... it does get warm though, almost hot. Shuts off after a certain ambient temp.

It makes me mad that the g37 didn't come with this option. I have an 06 Maxima, and it is by far one of my favorite features.

There's a lot of things I would have liked to see in the G37. Specifically cooled seats, blind spot warning on the mirrors, heated steering wheel, and a way to allow a passenger to put in an address into the GPS while driving.
