Little Update

Sup everyone,
Seems like ages since I've actually posted something on this forum that wasn't a for sale item. Just wanted to show y'all a little progression of how my ride has come along recently.

SO, basically i had the idea of parting my car out... which I did to buy an M3 but thank goodness i realized that wouldn't have been financially responsible for a 19 year old LOL. Here we go.

Before the partout I had 3 notable set ups.
The first was the last time i had an IPL kit on the car, rocking some Avant Garde/Work M560's.

From here I went the total opposite direction. Stripped the kit, bought one of the ONLY full CF Zele Rep bumpers. Also threw on a AK V2 in the rear along with some Volk G2's

After missing the low life of course I had to switch it up again. I went back to a 2011 Sport bumper for like the 3rd time and threw on a set of Work Gnosis HS202's. Shout out to my good friend Kenny Chan for the wheels btw

Here is where things get depressing. I had quite a few bad luck instances with the car that made me wanna sell it. Weak minded I know... but bear with me.

First I underestimated the amount of camber needed with these wheels and bowed in my rear fenders. and to make it even worse... a stray tire on the highway flew into my front bumper.. cracking it and all that good stuff.

From that moment on I was so done with the car I just wanted to get rid of it. So i parted it out and decided to move on.

Here is where we hit our low point. My ignorant childish self took the car downtown which I never do. Got drunk. And rear ended a gentleman in a Range Rover. *Forgot to mention I had the fenders redone before the partout*

AND HERE IS THE TURN AROUND

After that night, I realized I hadn't been treating this car right, and that I was going to redo it RIGHT. So I bought a new hood, new TS front end, had my headlights painted by my buddy Jon Paul Gabrenya and had my fenders resprayed to avoid any mismatching.

This is how we are sitting now. IPL sides back on again, the TS front, and a nice set of 3 Piece Avant Garde Form F230's. I'm still waiting on someone to come wrap my roof gloss black and I'm waiting on some funds to do another AK V2 along with a set of Burnout Spats on the rear. I have a photoshoot lined up in the next couple weeks so stay tuned y'all

Before IPL sides

And AFTERRRRR

Glad to hear you using your head and making the sensible choices for a 19 yr old. Seems like you've learned a bit of a lesson, and luckily you didn't hurt anyone in your collision while intoxicated.

Nice photo history of your ride! You have made a ton of wholesale changes in a very short amount of time. My fave setup so far is either the first or third photo.

I guess you have a killer job (oil field worker?) because no job I or anyone I knew had at 19 could have supported the mod, remod, and mod again tendencies on a nice vehicle. I'd hate to think of what the wheels, suspension, bodykit, labour, alignment, and body work would have set you back!

Ahhh, to be 19 again. I made similar mistakes but on a much smaller budget, seems like you've gotten some valuable lessons from them. Thanks for posting some history of your ups & downs, car looks great and you've put some serious coin in that one. Good luck down the road.
