I have an XS and have a friend with an X. Lets just say, he wishes he had my car.

Ha haa thx guys. Seriously I do like the X alot. It was a good deal with low mileage and 3 yrs left in warranty.
I am most curious of the exact list to make it a homemade S or better...
I get the BBK and better Sways and sport seats.
What mods regularly happen on the S anyway?

 

Same mods that happen on a non-S. Suspension, wheels and body. I wouldn't sweat it if you didn't get the S. Even though the BBK and seats are an upgrade, and only 6MT is available in the S, non-S drives just as nice. If you do the suspension (ie coilovers) you'll get similar results in S and non-S variants.
