Do you need to see your feet for $110? That is all it is.

I bought and installed it .... I like it a lot and think it's adds a touch of class. Having the proper amount of light LED's and wiring harness make the OEM kit worth buying IMHO.

I ordered the kit ( OEM Infiniti Accessories & Replacement Parts Warehouse ), I didn't buy individual parts. Install was easy and you don't have to take off as many pieces as the instructions (center floor console trim). I used a variable sized drill (the stepped kind) for the holes (2, on on drivers side and one on passenger side). You need to make sure the LED is facing the right direction and where the wiring harness plugs is is documented terribly in the instructions. All in all, pretty easy, easier than the illuminated sill plates and spoiler.

Are they on all the time? On with the parkinglight or headlights? Or only lit up with dome light upon entry and exit?

They are on when the cars parking/headlights are on.

Correct ... if you go with OEM kit but I see no reason to want/need to turn them off. They are not bright but just a very subtle amount of light to see anything on the floor (wife's pocketbook is a prime example). This is one of the reason I like the OEM kit, the LED's have the perfect brightness level.

Excellent. So this means that what ever you splice into sets it up to operate this way.
