So, I recently purchased a black 2009 G37 coupe with 74k miles. It came with everything except an owners manual....NAV, heated leather seats, sunroof, rearview camera, sat. radio, etc.
The badge on the trunk lid says G37s. The seller (original owner) told me it had the "Sport" package. It has the 7AT with paddle shift. Everything I find on the internet indicates that the 2009 "Sport" package came with only the 6MT.

Can my G37s have the Sport package? How can I know?

do you have big brakes and 19s? The only ones that did not come in sport in 09 were the G37X coupes if I remember right.

It does but you can add them yourself I did ont x coupe

Sport package was an option on the journey. How to tell, Paddle shifters + 19's + big breaks = sport package

 

^ also seats and bumper etc. If the lid has an S on it then you have a sport model

 

Also, look at the seats. If the seats have an extension that pulls put for people with longer legs.

 

If u have a G37S
Then u have the sport pack

 

I'm beginning to figure out that the Sport Model and Sport Package are two different things.
There is a red S on the trunk lid, so I guess that means I have the Sport MODEL.
I also have the front seats with extensions, which indicates It came with the Sport PACKAGE as the seller indicated.
Again, I have the 7AT which I thought was not available with the Sport package, but maybe the only way to get the 6MT as an additional option was to include the Sport package.
Still a bit fuzzy, but getting clearer. Thanks for all the feedback.

 

It's the other way around. Technically the G Sport only comes in 6mt. However, you can get the 7at with Sports package, same as adding Premium, Navi, etc.

 

If yours is automatic and it has paddle shifter and 19 inch wheels factory and it says g37s on the back I'm sure it comes with sport package

If it is stick shift then it wouldn't have paddle shifter but yes it would be with sport package if you post a picture it would help
