Hey, all. I usually just stay out of this stuff -- can't stand it/waste of time when things get personal.
I think the product is sharp and have given it serious consideration myself. But, I have always backed off b/c I have the guards in the rear and I don't like the way these diffusers don't run out and fit to the inside edge of the guards - in most pictures, the normal fitment comes up short but even on both sides. Obviously, there are many satisfied customers that like this look. I am just not one of them (yet -- it is still so tempting). I am guessing the OP has the same aesthetic perspective.
As the OP pointed out, if you look at the picture of the V2 on the Autokits website showing the red coupe the left rear lines up very nicely with the inside edge of the left guard. The right side comes up short. OP said he/she specifically asked if the fitment was better/could be better than that and reports that he wast told it would be.
It takes about 30 seconds to go to the site and see what they were talking about when you look at the referenced picture.
Just some food for thought...

I hated how there was a gap between the diffuser and the rear splash guard.
So i decided to take the rear splash guards off to attempt a better fit.
So after spending 5 hours, this was the end result,
I'm very very satisfied with it!!
I spend more then 2 hours just taking off the double sided tape off the rear bumper, and the splash guard. it was a pain in the f'ing a's's!!!!! lol
Another hour and a half or so was spend on enlarging the mounting holes on the bottom of the splash guard because i had to refit it.
For spending over $400. I shouldn't have to spend 5-7 hours retrofitting the diffuser. Especially that it comes with double sided tape and 2 mounting screws. It should be a direct fit. That only goes to prove that it's not a direct fit. That guy above was crazy in my opinion.

Then your claims mean jack diddly without pics. autokitsx is doing everything they can to help you and you are being ignorant. I have the exact diffuser from autokitsx... And fits great. It is not made to stretch all the way over to both splash guards. There will be a small gap on both sides. That is NoRMaL

you do not want the diffuser right?
so you are going to return and get refund?
That means AKX can send it to Jon and we can get pics, every one will be happy.
