How about taking it off? Since my cars a lease (2 yrs) i will have to take it off eventually. Does it come off easily? And does it damage the parts in any ways?

For the carbon fiber wrap for the radio. I was about to get to that piece but when i looked in the back.
1. I couldn't disconnect the top right wire, the press release is different? how did u get that off
2nd. When i looked on the back i saw exposed micro chips. Did u remove all of that to wrap the trim? or is there a easier way to wrap it?
Thanks

Here's a thread I posted w/ more photos of the back of the stereo unit, it's a sedan but should be the same AFAIK.

I just started working on wrapping my interior. Wow.. blisters on my thumbs..
Testing - 3M Di-noc carbon fiber on the top, eBay "5D carbon fiber" on the bottom.
Here's the eBay vinyl on the door pull:
Same door, but without flash. Although blurry, it better displays the gloss of the vinyl and how the weave normally looks under natural light:
What's the best way to get the 1-6 preset buttons cleanly formed on the radio/hvac trim? This has to be the hardest part!

Figured out how to remove the shift surround portion of the console. Just pull up!
Here's where I'm at now:
I couldn't figure out the best way to cleanly wrap the ash tray cover. Are you guys wrapping it while attached, or is there some way to remove the cover from the swivel/hinge?
I saw some screws on the sides of the ash tray assembly. It started getting late so I didn't start attempting to reverse engineer it.
