finally i got my dream car 2008 g37s Gulf specs in Dubai
i wanted to drive this beast. all time checking videos and seeing it roaming in town ( lebanon ) before i moved to work in dubai where i could afford one there.

i found a 2nd hand one but took it to infiniti and did full check up. the car is perfect with some scratches outside but nothing important. 78000 km driven only

now the car is way fast... i love the speed but the sound of exhausts makes me want to sell it. the stock exhaust is just way so silent. when iam near a g35 i just look and say i wish i can sound like this. i wanted to install nismo exhaust but apparently nismo wont work on g37s cz i was never able to find someone with nismo installed. stillen exhaust is way too light and its doesnt sound nice. magnaflow makes it like american muscle and i dont want to ruin luxury look of my car. this guy just showed me what i want. the sound is eargasmic its just perfect

if i was in US. i drive 10 hours but to reach him and let him install it for me. the problem am new in DUBAI UAE and u cant just trust anyone to mess with ur car. i just love my car but iam not satisfied with the roaming and throttling sound. i need to drive people's attention when driving it. we all knw that g37s is not like g35.


one more thing i heard abt catalytic converters that if u remove them the sound will be way better. Due to the sandpit am living at :P the weather is not really clean and it wont matter if i remove it. but any negative side effect on the car? how do u remove it ? anything wrong will happen? what about the performance ? am new to those things. i always wanted to own a sports car but due to financial reasons it was impossible. now i got what i want but trust me, id rather sell mt g37s to get g35 just because of sound. its just eargasmic

kindly advice what to do and if there is any near shop in dubai or any easy way of shipping from outside.

 

There are tons of exhaust options for this car. If that's all you're looking for then the problem is easily solved, and you don't need a custom option to achieve it.

The stock 37 exhaust is a bit quieter than the stock 35. I think the sport exhaust option brings it closer to that + a little more oopmh, however it's hard to say exactly what you're really looking for.

 

I like my stock exhaust but like you said it's not very loud so I'm getting fast intentions The thread I have linked has some different exhaust and try searching them on YouTube and see if you like any of them.

Hey buddy, congrats on your purchase. You're right about our cars not being so loud. One of the main concerns Infiniti took care of on the 37 was the in cabin sound that was significantly louder on the 35. Do some searches on this forum and the web. It all depends on how deep your pockets are at the end of it. Just keep in mind that the best performance is gained from the least amount of restriction. You can always purchase test pipes or High flow cats to replace your factory cats and then look at exhaust options. Custom straight pipes tend to be a bit raspy but your best bet is to check out videos on line and have a look in the vendors section on this website.

Yup the exhaust was what I hated most on our cars. Had it replaced in less than a month from owning the G. Fast Intentions and Motordyne make some quality good sounding exhausts.

 

Get an accessory muffler for the coupe. Best mod I invested my money into. It sounds like g35 coupe but deeper. During normal cruising it's almost stock until you step on it. Great sound, but not cheap.

 

Go for a full motordyne setup with test pipes and exhaust or a full fast intentions setup test pipes +exhaust.
Do not waste your money on borla or magnaflow.

Living in dubai and buying car parts means you need to buy pretty much all aftermarket parts for your car online. For this all you need is a credit card in your name.
There are vendors in this forum, pm them and get quotes including shipping. Go with the one your satisfied with.
Once the parts arrive let us know and some local shops for installation can be suggested.

If you want the real easy way yes there are shops in dubai who may order tha same parts for you then charge you 2-5x more for it. Better shop online yourself.
