Here are the pics... 2012 G37xS 5000 kms on it... I owe more than what the car is worth, sticker price was 57.6k, and drive off the lot its estimated price is 36-47k depending on, well you know, stuff... I have GAP Protection from Infiniti...
Quick background was that I was at a red light, it turned green, I took a second to check oncoming, couldn't see any vehicles at the time, guess some were stopped, I went on my merry way after the light turned green, and some goofball ran the red coming eastbound (he must have been accelerating through the red, I didn't get halfway into intersection and out of nowhere I hit the guy, airbags went off, and I think I hit the gas after I hit him because I was up on an embankment, scary stuff how fast it happened, we were all OK, witnesses came forward yelling that the other guy ran the red, and came up to me to give numbers etc, no one was witness to the other guy ie (everyone knew he was at fault)...
It honestly doesn't look bad enough to total, but you never know, frame damage is always possible in any accident.
Glad you're ok though. Background on the wreck?
A lot of internals a mashed up, rad is cracked, water bottle, alternator was pushed against motor, intakes are pushed in, I think the whole engine is lifted because of undercarriage dmg...
The car is worth too much to total, the shop with have the ins. company down they'll write it up for around 12-14 thousand the first time, and then call the ins. company back for supplements,,,
