Will Infiniti perform powertrain related TSB's under powertrain warranty?

I have a 2008 G37s coupe which has a little throttle surge when braking. Searching the forums it appears there is a TSB which fixes this, itb07-048b. The fix involves reflashing the ECU, would Infiniti do this as part of the powertrain warranty?

Possibly depends on dealer. I recently went to my local Infiniti about the dead battery / vent control valve issue and they told me that there's an update for my ecu which hasn't been done so they've replaced the battery for me under ecu update warranty even though I was beyond out of warranty. They told me the warranty on ecu/electronics is longer than the basic/power train warranty.

You could get lucky like me. Doesn't hurt to try.

Dropped off at the dealer this morning. I described my throttle surge problem, they were able to verify and noted there is a TSB to fix it. Sadly according to Infinit of Tysons they cant cover this under powertrain.

Strange as this is very clearly a powertrain related issue. They wanted $125 to do the work, I declined. I've started a case with Infiniti, hope they will goodwill the ECM reprogram as my car only has 44k miles.

I don't see why they wouldn't cover it free of charge since it's a known issue. There's a TSB on it. You did the right thing by starting a case.
