Easter surprise...fml

Thankfully the piece all the way on the far left is the ONLY spot that ate through the paint which freaking sucks. THANKFULLY all the other spots caused the other car to roll up the dip into a ball and save my paint.

I just cringe at the thought of the damage that would have occured if the plasti dip wasn't there.

on a lighter note, happy easter everyone. hopefully your luck is better

That's the #1 reason I dipped it. I live in an apartment complex, and I thought it would give me a little more protection than having my paint exposed. I figured this would happen eventually and, well, this happened overnight. I'm 100% sure it overnight but I just don't know who :'(

Goodness. Who knows? Perhaps Plasti-Dip could help solve world hunger, too?

Sorry about your ride, Jesse...

Thinking about re-dipping the whole car matte black or matte white since I don't have enough of this color to fix the spots (custom mixed color). Not sure though. Possibly an aero kit soon but after this I don't even want to spend the money and have something like this happen to the paint

The other car's bumper sliding against it made the dip roll up in thick pieces I guess and provided just enough barrier to save it.

edit: updated the original pic with an updated one. As you can see, I got EXTREMELY lucky. Not a single scratch on the paint for a majority of it.

Why do you even care about your paint when you're covering in that horrible crap?

Clearly someone doesn't like to read. If you would like to go off topic and share your opinions on the product that I used on my car, kindly go vent to your heart's desire in the off topic forum.

I had the same thing happen to my car in my indoor parking lot. Too bad i did not have the dip it would have protected most of the damage

Dang that is bad, but if it is just a layer over the paint then that's good.
