Sorry to see this crap. What makes me really mad is if they wanted the wheels that bad fine, but to screw up the car to get them as well really sucks! I would gladly go out and put my car on jack stands so they can take the rims and tires to keep them from screwing up my car! Just kidding but it sucks.

At least Lexus comes with wheel locks standard.
My G came with wheel locks standard.

SRG, welcome back! Sorry to see your returning with bad news though...hopefully your insurance will sort you out, and if not, it's a hard lesson learned. Best of luck to you.

It's been a while man. Sucks to see your car like that. Good luck with everything.

That's a sad day indeed. Don't be too upset though; this will be your way into something even better than the last set.

Honestly, usually the cost for new stock wheels from a dealership cost more than some aftermarket ones. I have M45s wheels, just for kicks I asked a guy at my dealership how much a new wheel was not too long ago, I was shocked when he said $550 a piece.

True, but you would make a hell a lot of noise trying to get it off with that method and take a lot longer, which would probably cause someone to notice and call the cops or attract attention from witnesses.

Stealing wheels without wheel locks is super easy and quiet, and it takes like less than 2 minutes per wheel with proper tools.

man sorry for the loss.. i know the feeling all to well... look up my history it has happened to me 3 times.. once without the locks cops caught the guys in action, 2nd time no locks left my car on bricks, and third time they stole all my lug nuts except for the one lock on each wheel then smashed my window to find the lock key couldnt find it so they stole my ipod. I now have multiple locks on each wheel made by different brands..

I can only imagine! Sorry to hear the news.

Hopefully insurance won't give you a fight. On the bright side... The cost of new tires, TPMS and wheels will get you a nice set of wheels. Those OEM wheels retail for more than the Vossens I think? Like Kevalteam said, maybe you can upgrade to a higher quality wheel.

Good luck!

oem rim is 1083, tires are about 340, tpms set up as close to another 100. so your looking at about 5-6k from your insurance for your rims and tires. Just had to replace some from an accident amazing how I made money from wrecking my car lol. Sorry for the loss, I would be more upset about the damage to the body and any to the disc or transmission from just dropping it on milk crates.

You should also get a motion sensitive camera. Sucks that it happened, but imagine having the guy(s) on video (preferably w/ audio) and the pleasure it would bring handing it over to the police.

Do it.
This is exactly what I did because that has been my worst nightmare since I got my G. Most of the time it sits at home with nobody there

Wheel locks are a dealer installed option. Wheel locks will help, but sadly some areas are just prone to theft. I used to live in an area where they broke my window in a crappy car just to steal my laundry. After that, as my garbage was a block away, I just left my doors unlocked, and I would put the garbage in the back seat. Someone always disposed of it for me within a few hours!

This. When I looked at wheel prices, I didn't see $1083, but I did see $918. regardless, they're stupid expensive.
