Dealer can't find noise, won't fix. Advice please!

Hi. I have a 2009 G37 coupe auto with sport package. I have a clicking noise when coming out of slow speed turns, like coming around narrow corners going up a parking garage. recently I started hearing a loud clunk when letting UP on the brakes after a quick slow down or stop. I have had the car in to the dealer twice for this, both times for more than 2 weeks each. They can hear the noise but can't find it. They have changed the rack and pinion system, front driver control arm and shock, and front cross member, tightened/shimmed the frame, over 10 hours into the car this week alone by their "best" tech. The clunk and click are still there. They have had "engineers from infiniti" look at it. I am now told an Infiniti rep told them they will not put any more parts in it. I am still under warranty until May! The service person mentioned possibly talking to one of the sales people about trading it in and getting something else. With all this trouble why the hell would I want to buy another one? Anyhow, anybody have any ideas about what to check and any ideas about this "no more parts" business? I just want the damn noise fixed, whether it's a bolt that needs to be tightened or replacing something major. they should take responsibility. Thanks in advance for any help.

wow sucks to hear that.. and seriously.. is that how infiniti does business.. they tell you "just buy another infiniti" geez i wouldnt let my worst enemies fall like that.. i would not recommend an infiniti to anyone if this is how they decide to do business.. i do hope u can get things cleared out... im talking my 08 MT in monday.

my issues are: when pushing in the clutch going from1st to 2nd gear.. sometimes the transmission shutters and shakes (feels loose) but 2nd to 6th is fine. and also when in neutral i hear and feel noises coming from the gearbox and feel the noise when i have my foot lightly on the clutch (feels like some clicking noise... but yea wish me luck too >.>

if they would tell me the same thing as you were told. i would never purchase another nissan/infiniti vehicle and would take my business elsewhere.

I'm with you...

I feel for ya bro! I don't mean to sound spoiled, I appreciate all they have done for me. But somehow it seems, I don't know, incompetent (?) that the answer is just to keep replacing parts until the problem stops. That is one way to trouble shoot but there has to be a better way. I'm still waiting to get the car back, going on to week 3!

Any aftermarket parts on the car?
Have they checked the brake pads and shims? Sometimes the fitment is a little off with the shims or pads and can cause the pads to move around a little giving you a click or clunk when the brakes are applied / released. (I had that issue once).

Everything is stock. I would hope, but don't know, that they would have checked the brakes during all of this. That would *seem* to be the place to start, but I'm no technician.

Have them look at your axle half shafts. Also wheel bearings.

There is a tool called "chassis ears" which they can install to locate the noise. I would ask if the dealer has this? Also, was the refusal to look further verbal or in writing? I would document everything. If something breaks just past warranty you should still be covered.

They used some sort of listening device. I saw a bunch of cords hooked up to the car and connected to a pair of earphones. They claim they can hear the noise coming from the front end but can't find the exact spot. The "no more parts" was a verbal. If they have basically "replaced the front suspension" as the service rep said, all that tells me is that it's not the suspension system.
