I recently purchased my diffuser from Autokits X in matte black since my car theme is black and white with a dash of the red in it. My question is how well does the diffuser hold up from upgraded exhaust systems?? For instance, the paint job on the diffuser (matte black, carbon fiber or painted as your vehicles color.) I have my stock in as of right now, but by next month I should have the Ark Grip installed in my vehicle. That is a lot of heat being generated out of the vehicle, so I figure I ask since I have not encountered any post on it.

 

I'd guess that the paint on the diffuser would hold up just like the paint on the rear bumper would. As long as the tips aren't touching it, I'm sure it will be fine. There are tons of guys running diffusers with and without aftermarket exhaust systems.

 

Ya it will be fine. I had my exhaust hitting my diffuser for a week or so and nothing happened.
