G feeling a little slower than normal...?

So lately I've been noticing how my G seems slower in all ranges of power. I used to feel a good amount good power, especially between 4-6k rpm's but lately something is off.
I just raced my buddy in his 09 journey A/T, bone stock, and he pulled on me about half a car length from 40-90. I have a 08 sport M/T with exoticspeed exhaust, gtm test pipes, hps intake tubes/high-flow filters, and a UpRev tune.... ..........

Whyyyyyyyyy??

I was thinking maybe it was because I took the negative off the battery and left it off over night, in order to reset the ecu for my bags because it froze. I thought maybe i reset the tune by disconnecting the negative but this was just last weekend, and I've felt my G to be a little slow these last few weeks.... Anyone had similar experience?

How many miles? You could have old/dirty sparkplugs.

I'd check and clean the air filters, throttle bodies, spark plugs. Could be bad gas, maybe pick up some fuel injector cleaner and run it through as well.

id have to agree our Gs throttle bodies get dirty. Clean em out and get some injector cleaner. Clean the air filters and check your plugs

I will check the plus and filters, and look into how to clean the throttle bodies. Now that you mention it, i do usually run Shell or BP gas, but recently i switched to gas from Costco because i save $.30-.40... Wonder if it could be from that...

Regardless it seems all too strange to be running like this. Especially losing to my friends bone stock 5A/T!!

Elaborate? Basically it just seems to climb the rpm's slower by just enough to notice and with less power. Nothing major but enough for me to notice, and to lose to another stock G

LOLOLOL, but in all seriousness, unless someone gains 50+ lbs, you're not really going to feel it.

I have similar mods with UPREV as well, there's days where myG will feel sluggish other days it's back to normal preppy self and it annoys me as fawk. Have no clue what's the deal is maybe like JerseyG37s said ha

Well I need a retune anyway so hopefully it will eliminate this problem. OP talk to your UPREV tuner and tell him your problem maybe he's kind enough to run it on the dyno see if everything is running correctly? I'm sure he can help solve your concern.
