Map light rattle due to subwoofer

I just installed 2 10" subs in the trunk of my G coupe. The Map light console gives a bad rattle. The rattle was there before the subwoofers were installed but not as prominent. If I hold the space between the sunglasses holder and the lights then the sound goes away. Is there any way to permanently fix this problem or reduce the rattle?

Take it out and stuff either some foam, of sound deadened behind it.

Take it out. Spay or brush on some sound deadener on it back of it. Done.

I had this issue, and tried adding some foam padding. it helps but dynamat help's even more since it weights it down. This is prob. the cheapest solution.

give it a try best of luck.

Ok thanks for the input guys. I'm going to take it down and go with some sound deadener.
