Hey guys i have a k51 and i got my aero front bumper and as i was ordering my side skirts, i realized it's not offered in my color (k51) so i was wondering how noticeable from k57 to k51? If not i guess i just have to pay to paint it?

k57 is a bit darker and looks purplish in low[ish] light conditions...where did you get the k57 bumper? How much was it?! :O :O

 

Hi, I know this is an old thread... but just wanna ask what did you end up doing? Painting the K57 bumper to K51? Because I have the same dilemma now lol. Is that noticeable if not painting?

 

These are two different colors both available options at the same time in the earlier models of the G37. If they were hardly noticeable in difference, it is doubtful that Infiniti would have offered them concurrently.

I have the amethyst graphite and my friend has the platinum graphite. Side by side at night, or under dim lighting, there is only a slight difference in color. However, in brighter light such as in daylight or direct sunlight, the difference is stark with the amethyst (purple hue) coming through more aggressively.

So unless you plan to exclusively drive your G after the sun sets, I strongly discourage not using the same paint code on the entire vehicle.
