I traded in my '08 Acura TL Type-S for this. 2009 G37S, 7-spd, Sport Package, Nav, etc. 23,000 miles - just came off lease. Certified Pre-Owned.

Congrats! I did the exact same thing. I traded in my 08 TL Type-S as well for a OB Coupe. What made you trade in the TL-S?

 

I was having some pretty ****ty alignment issues with it that nobody, not even Acura, could hunt down. The rear toe kept shooting in and causing pre-mature tire wear.

That, and I missed my coupe lol

Honestly, it's my DD and I drive a lot for work, so it probably won't see much modding. Most likely the GTR push start, and possibly some Iron Man headlights from 180. Not sure what else yet.

 

Looks like it already has IPL sides no?

 

Not sure - I'm fairly new to the specifics of the car. I was looking at throwing on an IPL front bumper, but the '09 sport bumper is kind of growing on me...

 

Sway bars, coilovers, wheels and call it a day. Congrats man and welcome

$32,000 out the door. Was a tad bit more than I wanted to pay, but the low mileage and the CPO made me decide to bite the bullet.

 

Just curious what they gave you for the TL? Your new car looks like they kept it in great condition.

 

First they tried to rob me. They pissed me off with an extremely low offer of $13k. I refused and told them I wanted more. They came back with $14,500. I still laughed at them...finally got them up to $16,500.

 

I'm a huge Acura fan having owned 2 Legend coupes, Integra Coupe, CL and a ZDX. Mixed in there was a Honda Accord V6 EX 6 Speed Coupe prior to my first G. I bought the ZDX after my 2006 G35 6MT Sport Coupe thinking I wanted to grow up; kept it for a little over year and traded it for a 2012 G37 IPL 6MT. Acura makes great cars but the G is a lot more fun to drive than any Honda/Acura I've owned.
