G35x sedan to G37S coupe
G35x sedan to G37S coupe
hey guys, im over on the 07 G35X sedan side.... thinkin bout trading in for a g37 coupe S or a 335i or xi. anything odd or funny to look out for in the coupes? thoughts? worth it? I have premium right now... Im lookin at all fully loaded options of the g37s, theres 2 around my area that are both certified.
Should I really be worried? nervous about going from AWD to RWD in the NE, but as I read someone say once, it rains and is sunny about 355 days of the year. The other 10 are probably snowing or slushin..

Lets not get into the g vs 335i topic. But this topic has come up so many times u should use the research button. But its really personal preference. You want more sportier feel with seat upgrade, bigger breaks and rims, get the S coupe and slap some bizzak on them. If you want more safety during bad weather and more room in the back get the sedan. As far as problems they both have the same problems.

Like joshk said. This depends on what year 335i you are getting. The 2012 335i sedans have way way way better interior then the g37. Now the new 335i coupe has yet to come out so right now the G37 beats out the 335i coupes in interior. But AWD will make a whole world of difference in bad weather.
I'd honestly keep your current car. The g37-S wouldnt be too big of an upgrade over your current car. You're going to lose 2 doors and gain a better seat while giving someone more money.
I've owned the e92 335Xi. It's an incredible car, and at the end of the day its much more refined. The brakes hunker down to the ground. The fit and finish of the car is perfect, and if you add the JB4 you'll be pretty much unstoppable. There is no better sound than the engine roaring at full throttle. The red gauges are just so pretty. However the MPG is just awful and the iDrive system takes a bit of patience.
I will add that the respect you get in a BMW is unparalleled. You'll attract much more attention of random peoples and girls. If you're looking for that then great! pick up the BMW, but if you're looking for a nice car that'll meet all your needs... then id suggest keeping what you have, and wait for the next gen G to come out.

I would agree with ralphie_s, there's only a slight difference between the sedan and coupes. I'd either wait for the next gen G or go BMW. I don't see the point in trading in for a coupe.
If I'm going to spend NEW money, I'd get a car that FELT new. What you will feel is not much newness from the driver seat if you go from 4-door to 2-door. When you park your car and walk away? Sure. But where do we spend most of our time?
I agree with Ralphie_S. If you are talking NEW 335, go for it. If you can, stick with your car until the new G is introduced in a year or so
