'08 vs '09 and Sport vs. non-sport What to buy??? Opinions???

Get the Sport, wish I did. You`ll get more for your money. But the reason I regret not getting the sport is the BBK thats 2k alone the rest I can careless, but I`m happy just owning a G37 journey regardless. And I just started modding. That`s the fun part.

I always stay away from the first year that a new transmission is used....lots of hardware, calibration, controls, and other things change as issues are reported and engineers evaluate problems with transmissions over time. I am a mechanical engineer in a drivetrain design and development department of a large R&D facility and have dealt with this stuff on a daily basis for dam near every automaker on the planet. It's a roll of the dice, but your odds are likely worse on the 1st year a new trans is used. Both 7at and 5at are made by Jatco....decent transmissions.
