I seriously don't understand you guys drooling over side markers and headlamp washers.

If those came standard in the US, most of the threads on this forum would be DIY's as how to get rid of them "because they ruin the lines of the G" or "because I want a clean look". I don't even notice the side marker on my G.

Guess the grass is always greener on the other side

i agree 100% with you....IMO, the euro spec actually looks uglier with the side markers which to me, ruin the front bumper. The only thing i actually like about the jdm/euro spec is the amber taillights.

im surprise our cars didn't, most cars always come with amber tails for the 1st gen then usually change to all red later i.e. 96-98 civics had amber tails then later change to all red for 99-00 models. same goes for 94-97 integras then all red 98-01 models. Even BMW does the same thing with LED tails. I guess those are little changes but it does make a difference.

Maybe you can find folks in Europe to trade parts. Everyone always wants what the others have. It's like the Nissan badging. Many US owners want Nissan Skyline badges. Many J Spec owners want Infiniti G37 badges.

I wouldn't mind the side markers on the fender, but thats about it. And they would have to be LED. If it came with amber rear turn signals, I'd want to make them red personally.

I live in the mountains and there are times when you can go though three tanks of washer fluid in between gas fill-ups. Headlamp washers make as much sense as windshield washers do. I don't really think you need the sensors, just have them squirt when you squirt the windshield. They mostly will get dirty at the same time. It's an important safety issue that is so simple to do, yet it is ignored by most manufacturers. What's the good of HID projector beams if they are so dirty that they don't work? I agree, most of the time it's not that big of deal. But there is occasions when it would be very beneficial and much safer. With all the other mandated safety features, it is surprising both the feds and car manufacturers mostly ignore this. It should at the very least be standard on cars of this quality.

headlamp washers are necessary for the HID-headlamps in all the European countries by the law.
