whats everyones thoughts on a mangaflow exhaust with a couple thousand miles on it for about 600 installed? opinions on sound? is the price good? not looking for much of a power gain, just looks and sound...

 

You can get a used ARK for around $600. Magnaflow will be ****.

 

I think there are better sounding exhausts for the G. And its a magnaflow, an exhaust that is prominent with American muscle cars. Its a good price but I think there are better options. You won't see much gains with any catback.

 

Magnaflows on my G sounded like utter ****. No other words to describe it really lol. Threw it in the trash, literally, and put in Invidia Q300. I fell back in love with my car after that haha.

I had a Magnaflow, lasted less than a week.
The drone was unbearable.

Sounded like an A$$ GM V6.

 

Not sure about magna flow, but there are many nice exhausts for our cars. HKS,ARK and my personal choice Fast Intentions!! If you go cheap you will just end up buying twice, the g is to nice of a car to pinch pennies. Good luck with ur modding!!!

not really trying to pinch pennies, just new to modding and it seemed like a great deal, but because i don't know any better, i ask my fellow members like your self who give good advice (much appreciated!)

sounds nice, how's the drone in the cabin though? seems like it's too rumbly

I honestly love my Stillen exhaust. But an HKS exhaust or the ARK are amazing too. DiasG's exhaust sounds monstrous too.

 

Try our classifieds section for good used parts. Somtimes you can find a steal there,and as far as drone on certain exhausts, try youtube i have found a lot of exhaust videos there that helped me choose mine.

 

I'd pick my MagnaFlow over ARK every day of the week... Just my $.02.

 

He's mine, ZERO droan, Cruising on the HW you cant even tell I have exhaust. An the sound at WOT is NICE!! Gave you three different types of runs.

 

Everyone has their own personal tastes, so I'm pretty sure you will find someone who likes each individual brand. I had a Magnaflow on my Z28 Camaro and it sounded great, but haven't heard one on the G37.
