Anyone know if it is possible to automate your sunroof to close when car shutoff

Hey guys, I was wondering if it is possible to automate the closing of the sunroof when you turn off the car or lock the doors, etc. I want to avoid forgetting I left it open and then ahving a thunderstorm in my car. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Be a lil more conscious of leaving it open is the easiest way.....just like ruling up your windows.

I am not sure if you can do it with the factory alarm but if you have a after market alarm system they can wire it up to roll up the windows and sunroof when you arm the alarm

There's a module from kptechnologies that allows the sunroof to be closed with double pressing of the lock button on the remote. However, nothing i know of will close it automatically with ignition off.

That module isn't just for the side windows? If it's not, I may consider getting it. I remember reading someone had this module and his windows got stuck open at some point. Would not want that to happen to my roof hah

I just double checked and they make one for the G35. Not sure if it'll work on the G37. Might want to give them a call first.

Thanks for that. Also, do you know off-hand about their reverse tilt mirror modules? I wonder if you can just split the wires on the standard one and have both mirrors tilt vs having to splurge for the deluxe.

I have the reverse tilt module. I don't think you can split the single tilt. If you do, when you adjust the mirror using the ****, both mirrors will tilt. You will lose independent control of the mirrors. I don't see any reason to tilt the driver mirror. I would just get the single tilt.

I adjust the driver's side mirror sometimes--I am super **** about parking my car as far away from someone as I can...so I usually pull up to the curb within an inch or two. Mirror tilt down would make it easier without having to stick my head out hte window. Plus it would be nice to have them match. I'm just wondering if I would really need to fine-tune each one separately. I guess the motors probably have different enough speeds to make one module inadequate for both.
