Did my modifications help it to become a better driver's car or do I just have mad tyte formula One level driving skillz?
Jeremy, go back to sleep, its only a dream!!

Yeah, since I bought those Michelin Pilot Super Sports, I no longer hear the tires squealing on high speed turns. Must be something wrong with my car!!

Actually, regardless of whether you're rear wheel drive or all wheel drive, your fastest launch occurs with very very slight wheel spin.

I'm not surprised nobody has clarified this...

lol, you guys are getting the wrong impression.

I was just surprised that it wasn't possible to spin the tires at all, not saying I want to be able to do burnouts...

My previous car (Accord Hybrid) also had traction control, but it was not nearly as effective as the system on the G.

just FYI, the car has Michelin tires the dealer installed when I got it (CPO). I forget the exact model, but they're all season.

Just joking around with you man. All in good fun. It think I understood you completely. Honestly I'm a little bit surprised as well, having a RWD 6MT because it's not difficult at all for me to induce wheel spin if I turn off VDC.

Only a very slight amount; enough spin to keep the engine rpm from dropping when hooking up. That's a huge difference from actually "spinning" the tires...a slight spin is also easier on the drivetrain when making hard launches.

But that's not really what is being discussed here...

I can smoke my tires out here in Vegas but I was able to do it in SoCal as well. It was accidental of course. Once I get to a high altitude location (IE Denver, Albuquerque) that all changes though. I am still on the stock Potz as well on both cars.

3700lb curb weight, a well balanced chassis, and small non-torquey engine. They shouldn't be spinning much at all.

Even my manual RWD car needs quite a bit of RPM to get them to break free.
