Installed my Stillen HF Cats, Exhaust & Gen 3 Intakes

Well I installed my new toys and I must say that there is a great improvement overall in the throttle response. I love the sound however I have a few questions.

( I have an 08 G37S coupe )

I went from an 06 g35 coupe to this and I thought the 06 coupe had a better sounding exhaust for sure.. On my 08 g37s coupe With the factory exhaust I noticed above 5Kish there is a small rattling sound, or i guess you could say (bumble beeish?) sound when you gun it..

When i changed to the stillen. The overall deepness of the exhaust is much better, but that sound is still there when you gun it!

Does anyone notice a change in sound above the 45-5K mark on the factory exhaust??? (I might be crazy)

and anyone else on her with a stillen exhaust who can hear what im hearing?

normal???
Again I might be crazy

I appreciate the help!

Thanks!

I know there is a tsb on the exhaust if you look for it at the top tabs. Someone asked about this before.

A buddy of mine had the same problem once he hit a certain rpm. Perhaps an exhaust leak somewhere.

If it is a "hiss" sort of sound, it's from the engine. Someone who just got their new Fast Intentions exhaust system and test pipes installed still heard it. It's really going to happen no matter what exhaust system you have.

I get that when you let off the gas too. My understanding is that is some sort of back pressure. But again this is more like if you floor it you get a louder sound in the upper rpms. Slight bee-ish I think. It May be normal and I may be crazy...

I will take a video on the way to work

I don't hear anything abnormal with your exhaust. I thought maybe it could be rasp since you're saying it only occurs at WOT but I can't hear any of that either. The hissing is also normal when you let off the throttle. I had that on my stock exhaust. It's a bit louder now with HFC and Tanabe lol

Didn't hear much in the last few seconds either.

Also give it a few hours for more guys to respond as most are still at work.

Its that louder tone that I'm hearing I just want to make sure is okay.. Iv never owned an aftermarket exhaust so I'm probably just over thinking it..

Maybe it is a little " Raspy " ? Is this normal? If someone else has this exhaust maybe they can relate.
