I will eventually want to convert to Aero/ipl bumper/sides but for now if it looks descent i'll do sides first then in a year or so do the bumper.

Concerns:
1) Won't flow due to aggressiveness of sides
2) Much lower than non-sport sides and non-sport bumper making it look awkward
3) Much wider and more aggressive than non-sport bumper making it look weird

What are your thoughts?

 

Is there a reason you wouldn't do the bumper first then skirts in a year? I think the bumper without skirts keeps a better flow than the opposite setup.

 

Ya mainly because the labour / cost / work required for the bumper vs the sides.

If it looks fine then I'll just wait till sOmeone damages my front bumper then do the swap :P

 

Got my G37 5 days ago, came with IPL bumper only. Not bad, but may add sides/rear later...

 

I think the sides are a must with the ipl bumper

 

Don't disagree with that one bit, I already plan on ordering my sides sometime this summer. My only worry for you is that the IPL/Aero bumper price was pretty much a steal and nobody knew how long it'd last. Not sure if that's still the thinking as I haven't checked in since I got mine, but I'd hate to see you pay 3+ times what it's currently at when you finally go to order a year from now.

Did you have to order the fog light cover since you didnt get the fog lights for your car? Does infiniti sell such a thing? Or was that a custom thing?

 

I'd also like to know about the fog cover. Is it possible to get inserts that doesn't have the fogs at all? If you don't install the fogs do you need to move the resovoir

 

Now that IPL bumper is back to normal price I doubt I'll upgrade to that... maybe just get a burnout lip for my non sport bumper in the future...

Do you guys think getting aero/ipl sides in the interim will be a good choice?
