How much did you pay for tints?

A local tint shop quoted me $225 to get my coupe tinted, seemed a bit high to me. How much did you guys pay? Also what is the highest you would pay to get your coupe tinted?

He offered discounts if I get more people to buy them from him so if anyone's in the new york area(45 minutes from the city upstate) and want to get tints and might be interested in a group buy or something, let me know and i'll get quotes from the guy.

Depends on what quality tint you are getting. I got ceramic tint which is one of the higher quality films for around 150. I think 225 for the coupe is slightly too much for tint, all depends though on the quality of tint and the reputation of the shop I suppose.

I think anything over 200 for tint would be too much, even for the highest quality tints you can get such as ceramic etc. After the actual price of the film everything else is just service quality and dependability of the shop that you are paying for (which can be worth it in some cases). I would say shop around for the same quality film you want in different places and look up their reviews before paying over 200. Some tint services will even come to you and tint your car in your driveway etc.

I paid $250 or so for 5 windows. The tint is very good quality (from what I know) and they did a fantastic job with the car.

As long as they do a good job, that's a fair price.

I'd take a little higher price from people that stand by their work instead of getting it cheap.

You never know if some guy will scratch your windows with a blade or do other careless stuff. You need to go someone that will take care of you if anything comes up.

100 for all around except windshield. I noticed you live in NY. If you can pay a little for gas, come down to NJ. type in Protint newark in google. They do it for 107 with tax all around and lifetime warranty for any discoloration and bubbles. I got 20 percent

They have a more professional shop in elizabeth.

I am not advertising, but they do a really good job. I have countless friends who did it 4-5 years ago and their tint hasn't discolored yet.
