Please help! my airbags deployed on me!
i got into an accident last night. a taxi driver hit my left side(driver) door. the door is busted and my airbags deployed. it was about 30 mph direct hit to my door. i was wondering if its considered totaled? and what will the estimate price to repair it. Probably have to replace the whole driver side door and fix the airbags. i hope its totaled loss. it only have 8k on it and its the special anniversary edition 2010 coupe

If it's just the driver's door and 2 airbags, they won't total the car. It's not that expensive to fix those. If the whole driver side is destroyed, that's another story.

I doubt it's totaled.
Before the G, I had a 2006 TSX that met its match with a 18 wheeler tractor trailer and when it slid (from on-coming traffic) and slammed into my drivers side, only my window airbags deployed.
If only your side airbags deployed, and only need the drivers side door replaced, I figure it won't cost much to repair. My car on the other hand wasn't so lucky (with the exception of myself since I'm still here), and required over 12k in repair which deemed it totaled (car was worth 12-13k)
What my car required -
- Drivers side front fender
- Drivers side front door; rear door;
- Drivers side rear fender
- Roof Replacement
- Drivers side airbags (includes airbag in side of chair)
- Drivers side internal repair for rear quarter panel
- Possible frame fix
And probably a lot more. But that was just captured from the adjuster, I knew for a fact that from the impact of the truck and my car, suspension components were bent.

This doesn't surprise me as Boston taxi drivers are complete and total 'tards behind the wheel and I've been witness to several accidents where they plainly have no regard for anyone else's safety and were at fault for it.
At least it sounds like you're doing OK and you weren't at fault. Really the only thing you can do now is have the car towed to a shop you know & trust and then have them assess the damage in your favor, not the insurance adjuster.
