Went for a wash yesterday and noticed there seems to be quite a bit of chips in my bumper. More than likely they're from the previous owner but just wondering if anyone has experienced the same? I do a lot of highway driving.

 

yeah my front bumper looks like a freaking dalmation at this point. only way to get rid of it is to repaint it and then add the clear bra as protection. without the clear bra theres not much u can do as its bound to happen again.

i do almost 100% highway driving. in 1 years time, i had to have my bumper, hood, fenders and front lip repainted. cleared bra'd it after.

 

This clearbra stuff looks promising :O!

 

just make sure you get a quality clear bra as the cheap stuff will yellow in the sun and look horrible after a couple of years.

 

Where'd you get yours? & How much did it cost?

 

i havent repainted mine yet but i have heard good things about 3M and a new product from avery. depending on what u want done anywhere from a couple hundred up to a grand

 

Same here. My drivers side is much worse, probably because I left-lane it most of the time and bad drivers in front of me touch the shoulder and kick up rocks.

 

i have an 08 and didn't have a single rock chip on the bumper until 2 weeks ago. I have 2 rock chips now, wish i got the clear bra when it was still in perfect shape...=/

The clear bra does cover up MOST of the areas, but!!!... I still get rock chips and its all at the place where the clear bra doesnt cover!. Maybe that's just the luck thing...

 

Where can you get this!?!? Will it cover the IPL bumper?
