Idea

So I have a black G37s and i was thinking of wrapping the hood, roof and trunk in Carbon Fiber. Just wanted feed back on what people think. I also have the grill blacked out and soon the head lights and the tails just got tinted today. So if anyone has pics or just some feed back, it all would be great thanks. Also im still on stock rims....For now

Wrapped hoods and wrapped trunks look cheap. Do real CF. Only thing I would wrap would be roof as long as it matches the hood and trunk.

you're idea has been already done.... a while back. But was REAL CF hood and trunk. General consensus from the guys on this forum is a big NO on fake carbon fiber wraps. Keep it clean. If you want carbon fiber, do the little stuff like grill, side mirror covers, rear diffuser and etc.. done in REAL carbon fiber.

Check out my pics! I have the roof bungled in a 3M di-noc carbon fiber vinyl. I have a thread with pics posted. It looks better now that I have mods on my car. It's way easier to clean than the actual paint of the car. Then again afterwards I said to myself... Why put fake stuff on a $40k car? But I've kept it and still like it !

Im glad I could be of assistance to you. Before you do that though I think you should focus more on saving that money for something else. It cost me 250 to get it done and not sure how much itll cost you. At times i would think of taking it off but paying $250 for it made me keep it so it wasnt a waste. Make sure its really what you want.

Also in the future, getting the "fake" cf vinyl will in a way keep you from getting real cf parts because it wont really match...

Not trying to keep you from getting the vinyl but think about it and make sure its what you really want! good luck and post pictures if you do it!
