as for getting filters, stillen gives you the part number and you can order them from stillen, kn made them for stillen only. i took my existing intake which had metal filters and just added pipe and modeled it after the gen 3 which is the best setup available in my opinion. i mean theres air coming through the grill and acts like a forced induction as you drive. something that isnt seen on the dyno. when 70mph air is forced into a gen 3 it has to be better than an r2c setup, it baffles me why someone gets that over the gen 3 but what do i know.

If you like to actually use your hp all the time then no. Yea you can set it up to shoot whenever you want and its a lot of fun at that moment but to me nitrous isnt real power. you can add 150 hp shot to anything, and it will be fast. but its in the eye of the owner, to me and most not practical

That's true, it also adds up when you start filling bottles. But it does provide an easy and inexpensive power. Just not practical but it's good to get those impressive time slips at the drag strip.

Power mods on a G are almost irrelevant. Too expensive and not much of a gain, even when FI the numbers are not that impressive considering it's a 3.7 V6. It was a whole lot easier to make power out of my old 2.0 4G63!

Just enjoy the G for what it is. Sure, add an intake and exhaust for that aggressive tone, but don't expect to be gaining a lot of power out of it.

Lose weight in the wheels/tires and get coils. You may not get 'em in a straight line, but you'll kill 'em in the corners!
