I just wanted to say...

That after much research on here and much skepticism, I decided to debadge my G today. After 2 hours of butt puckering and patience, it was done and without any damage at all.

I just wanted to say thank you to the moderators for running a great forum with an abundance of knowledge. I also want to say thank you to all of you who post DIY threads, advice topics, and answer questions from noobs like me.

Seriously....thanks everyone.

I spent about and hour just degadging "Infiniti." But then again, mine was on there for at least 2 yrs. Looks so much cleaner now!

I too, spent about an hour just removing the "INFINITI" badge. But this car was 3 years old and Ivory Pearl. Im seriously considering debadging further.

OP, post the pics already!

Anyone care to post links to the DIY threads? Search function is not pulling them up, at least not the ones you are talking about.

I was kind of hesitant about debadging mine since it is red and an 08. Took me about an hour and it turned out pretty good.

Did you guys, that debadged their cars that were a few years old, have any noticeable difference in the paint where the badges were?

Mine is 3 years old and I don't have any color difference. U just have to use a good polish to get the letter trace taken care of.

Took me 2 hours because the littlest scratch on black will show.

Just search for debadge and start looking. I didn't find a DIY thread, just a bunch of threads talking about different techniques.
