Steering Wheel Tilt

I originally posted this topic in General Tech and did not get the responses I was hoping for. Since I posted the question, I talked the dealer service, and they said what was happening below is normal. If it was normal, then why did this not occur from day 1? They could not answer this. The loaners I have had did not do the below, but I do not know if the sedans are different than the coupes for this functionality.

This just recently started to occur – with the car parked getting ready to exit the car, I raise the steering wheel and then move the seat back, the steering wheel lowers on its own, which I do not want to happen. If I move the seat back first and then raise the steering wheel, everything stays in their place. There is a slight hesitation raising the steering wheel if the seat is moved back first.<O</O

I do not have the move seat back on exit option from the comfort settings menu and both of my seat memory buttons are being used.<O</O

Yes, there are workarounds – move the seat back first, or program a button for exit, but it does not correct a possible problem.

I did a PDF search on the owner’s manual, and I did not come across anything that covers this.<O</O

If some 2011 coupe owners could give this a try a report back, I would be most appreciative. TIA. <O</O
