That's going to depend whether you have frame damage or not. by the looks of it, you better find a very reputable shop to further inspect all the damage internally

Yep it may not look like much but there might be some frame damage. If that's the case then tou better pray the car gets totaled.

I hope it's not total, or frame damage, I woud lose a lot of money on this car and I dont think I want to put out a good chunk of money to put down for a newer model, this is an 08 and if they total it....i'd be ****

Your gonna get slammed on resale/trade in. I'd personally go for totaled (looks like its not an option though) and find another accidentless car.

sorry for your accident.. but i don't understand why totaling the car will be bad for you? Your insurance will give you a check to buy a new car right? isn't it better so that you can get a new car or maybe upgrade?

Well the reason why I think totaling it might be bad is that I still owe about 19k on the car, if they total it, the money they pay me might not be enough for me to pay it off, or I might not have enough left over to put down for a new one, I know the 08 model are losing value very fast since the new 2012 models are already out

I doubt they will total the car. It's probably about 3.5-4.5K damages w/o frame damage or 7-8K w/ frame damage.

I do have gap insurance, got to wait and see what the insurance tell me, I need to find a good shop to inspect the car for me, make sure there aren't any frame damage, I really hope not, the car won't feel the same ever again

tmv on the 08s is like 24k roughly if your payoff is 19k you shouldn't worry unless you have some no name insurance that will only do payoffs on totaled cars.

looks bad hope you have no frame make sure you tell the shop you want an alignment with a printout before you take delivery most shops forget about doing the alignment.
