Dealership put a dent on my IPL....

So I ordered my Vleds for my Fogs and Parking lights and decided to bring it to the dealership to install them last Fri because I didn't feel like messing with taking the wheel off and the wheel well lining.

I knew I should have ask for a different installer when this idiot try to tell me the lights i ordered for my fogs were wrong because mine were too long

After a 2 hours of waiting, I noticed the service manager talking to my technition and you can tell he was chewing him out! So I walk out to the service bay and politly ask how much longer. Manager told me there was a "slight problem" with the install and I proceed to follow him to my car to notice a dent in my side paneling.

Manager apologized and promised that it would be back to normal by Monday and that "Dent Wizard" would be able to fix it! I ask them for a loaner because I didn't feel like dropping my car off again early mon morning.

Long story short.....
1) Dent Wizard guy was able to get my dent out and I couldn't tell that it was ever a dent there!
2) Got a M as a loaner over the weekend in which I drove to Lex KY for my work Award Banquet from Columbus, OH (450 miles)
3) Got the Service Manager to give me 2 free oil changes and a full tank of gas
4) He obviously didn't charge me for the install time for my led's

Sometimes a bad thing can lead into a good thing if you remain calm and stay professional.
Now I want to change my HID's to match the color because my fogs and parking lights look so good

WTF, how did he manage to put a dent there? Maybe he tripped and fell into your car. I can usually see tiny imperfections in the paint wherever they use the mallet with that little tool to push down the high spots, take a really GOOD look, the same way the PDR guy looks at it.

i changed my fogs, then a couple months after my ballast blew... dealership wouldnt cover it under warranty because i had modified my headlights and it wasnt installed by them... i tried telling the manager that they ran off a total different wire/setup... but he was persistent on it being my fault and i would have to replace the whole headlamp assembally for $1200... told him to F off flipped out in the stealership and found a ballast at a local collision shop for $60... better to be safe than sorry its still new

Thats great that they took care of it with no problem. Infiniti of Mobile damaged one of my rear wheels back in september and I am still fighting them to get it replaced. Their service manager is a real ****!

WOWOWOW thats very good that they were straight forward and honest

other dealerships would have blown it off and would have said "it came in like that"
