Black G with Carbon Fiber?

Been debating if i wanted to buy the Seibon carbon fiber TS style hood for my black G for a while now... I havent seen a picture of a g37 with this hood on it yet, not sure if it will look ****ty or good. What do you guys think? Does the carbon fiber look on a black car make it stand out a little more or just makes it look dirty / ricey ?
If anyone has a picture of a black G coupe with the seibon hood would be great!

Personally I don't like CF details on an OB coupe unless it's kind of subtle like the headlights/grille/mirrors/interior/steering wheel.

Can't you paint the CF hood to match BO? You still get the TS style and it'll match.

never been a fan of CF on OB. Its a great offsetting tool for any other color that's not as closely related to black.

I never understood the obsession with exposed CF. Even if I had a carbon fiber hood or trunk, I'd get it painted. Exposed CF looks, dare I say, ricey.

From: Framingham Ma,
I like the CF on a OB G, I have CF mirror caps, rear spoiler and diffuser and will be gettting the Autokits CF hood( If they remove the scoop).. But to me it looks really good.

been debating getting the ts hood for my ob coupe too. what i might do is get it and paint it ob but leave the vents carbon fiber or something like that. a full cf hood seems a bit ricey to me, and it just doesnt fit the luxury aspect of an infiniti.. maybe a full cf hood would look more appropriate on a 370z over a g37 but thats just my opinion.

As much as I love CF, I wouldn't do it a full hood in CF on an OB. If anything, assuming this is a the vented hood, you could paint most of it black and keep the vent CF. That would be the only way I could see this working well.

As much as I hate to agree with popular oppinion, I'm going to. CF hood on a black G makes it look ricey. CF hood on any black vehicle looks weird. CF only looks nice to me if it's on a contrasting color, not on black. I guess with the right set up it can look good, but I very rarely see it done well enough.

Don't do it.

Since I have have unpainted cf hood, although mine is on ip.
It will look awsome, not ricey at all, if anthing do a paint with ghosting so the cf is visable from certain angles.

If done right it will look sick.

Have seen fully painted cf, to bland.
Just my .02

^^Yeah that is why they use it on high end exotics. I do think hood is overkill though. I have OB and my headlight housings, grill and diffuser are all CF. Gotta keep it subtle.

I'd agree with this.

Do it! Haters always gonna hate.

Word of warning: seibon parts don't fit perfect. If you're okay with some gap inconsistencies, then go for it. If you're one of those that must have equal gaps to the thousandth of an inch then you'll be very disappointed.
