I was wondering what bulbs are stock on the G37's because I want to upgrade and make them a little brighter! Also, Theres a diffuser im wanting to buy, but i noticed that the diffuser is fully connected to the rest of the rear bumper so how would that work if i wanted to put a new one on?Thanks!

 

Stock HID are 4300K. Any color temperature higher than that will produce less usable light on the road (and more glare at oncoming drivers) but have a prettier white, blue, or more purple color, depending on what color temp you choose. It looks better but it's not really brighter, it's dimmer with prettier color.

Depends on what diffuser you choose. Most of what you'll find is attached with a few screws on the ends and double sided tape.

 

Thank you so much! I was wanting to upgrade to like 7k or 8k. And about the diffuser, I've seen some that mention the tape and what not, but what would you do with the OEM diffuser? Just cut it out? Leave it and put the new one over it.. but then it would stick out and look bad, that's what I'm confused about!

 

The ones you are talking about are stuck on top of the OEM lower bumper. Take a look at the photos closely and see how it fits.
