I too paid the price for trying to be an idiot with the VDC off. I was much luckier than you but I still learned my lesson.

Main thing is that you learned from your mistake and it seems like you did. Car is just a hunk of metal and can easily be replaced.

Interesting thing is that at 39, at least on my '11, I get the snowflake/"icy road" warning. My brother in laws '03 Jetta does the same thing, and I asked why (because hey it aint 32 or less), Jetta manual says its because things can start frosting up around 39 or so.

So moral of the story, anything below 45, treat it like frost!

Glad to see you are OK though......that car took a beating.....dont worry, Infiniti has more for you to buy, luckily you are still around to do so.

Snow doesn't generally fall if the temp is below freezing, if it is you get ice rain or hail (not the same). Snow will generally fall at around 34 - 37 degs.
