New Muffler

Hello,

I have a 08 G37s coupe, looking for a different muffler that has a little more sound, a little deeper louder sound that the stock OEM muffler... Any thoughts on that, don't neccesarily need the entire exhaust just a muffler is fine with me. I had a 2004 G coupe before loved the way that one sounded but the 08 seems too quiet for me.

About $1000 gets you an ARK or $1200 an MXP (price has recently been reduced) i believe.

ARK is super aggressive looking, MXP everyone seems to like. Both sound amazing.

Those are my recommendations.

If it's just the mufflers, go with Tanabe. Hands down, the best muffler section available for our cars. Fantastic looking tips and an amazing sound. What more could you ask for from mufflers?

Tanabe axle. Then if you want more sound you can add the mid and y pipes.

I'm just looking into getting a muffler as well. I'm not looking for power gains, just a change in sound. The Megan exhausts seems like its one of the cheapest and has a nice pitch.

I have Tanabe's and I think they look the best (axle back) and sound's good as well.

I wish our cars sounded similar to the stock G35 exhaust note.

Such a waste; at that point, just get a muffler delete and call it a day.

Now i got kids, mortage, bills, last thing i want to do to a 30k car is to add a $1500.00 exhaust just because it looks good and is brand name shlt when i am just trying to achieve a better exhaust tone.

my mentality is diversify, i rather have more toys then pour everything into a car....

G37 S stock looks good

you can do what i did, remove the y pipe and resonators, weld up exuast to stock muffler, much more throaty, cost me about 150 for all 2.5 inch pipe and angles sections, half a day of welding
