Wow, now that is an ugly shame. Glad you were not hurt.
There used to be a concept called the "Margin of Safety" for leaving a safe distance beween cars. That seems to have flown out the window, as everyone just have to get from point A to point B just as soon as possible. I guess because they are so important. Now you are lucky to have 15 feet between you and the car behind you. It is a shame our roads are so dangerous now. Lots of stupidity out there.

Update = car was declared a total loss by my insurance company today. Apparently there was quite a bit of additional discovered during the tear down. Much happier with this result as opposed to getting the car back after massive repairs. Shockingly got an extremely reasonable actual cash value quote from my carrier for the payoff. Sure do miss my car though...the rental Impala sure is not helping matters..

Now hopefully you can find a replacement. I almost had to drive to Atlanta when I was looking to purchase my G. Then I found my 09 at the local Nissan dealer. It was being driven by the head cheese of the dealer. He didn't want to sell it but they finally gave in. After trading in my Supra I got it for 29K so hopefully you can find a deal there in AZ
