heavy doors

this is my second G coupe, my first had really heavy doors when i would open them they shut right back into my leg since i got the second one i noticed that they were light to open and stayed where they belong. now after over a year im noticing them become very heavy to open is there anything that can be done about this? do i have to lubricate someone? has anyone else fixed this issue? its starting to become extremely annoying.

Idk about you, but these doors are ****ing tank doors lol... My Mustang's doors were heavy as hell too, not to mention that door closed on my leg more than I can count... My door really doesn't stay, especially when parked on the left side of the street (my girlfriend lives on a one way and her passenger door always closes on her LOL) anyways it seems my door doesn't stay open and it gets quite annoying considering parking at school and not wanting to hit the car next to me, so I can't really swing it open

What did you expect with ginormous coupe doors? Just keep a hand on it when you open it.

I don't think there's a fix. These doors are heavy. Aren't they reinforced with a beam or something? I like that since it adds a bit of safety. Anyways, that's the car we chose.

Not sure if lubricating someone will solve your heavy door problem... Maybe it'll help other doors... Lol

this thread has gone way off topic. To the OP, yes our doors are heavy as fack. No, you can't do anything about it.

Lol!

OP we know what you meant. It was just too funny to pass up!

Yes this car has some heavy *** doors. I used to own a '94 mercury cougar and that car's doors were nowhere near this heavy! And that car was pretty damn big with big *** coupe doors.
