Exhaust Rasp at 3 - 3.5k RPMs?

Exhaust Rasp at 3 - 3.5k RPMs?
Guys,
Is the normal "rasp" of the exhaust somewhere between 3k and 3.5K rpms? I have noticed this rasp on mine, now that it is cooler and I can drive with the windows down. I just had the muffler replaced by the dealer last month for the infamous broken weld issue. I was just curious if this rasp at this rpm range is normal? Thx for any help.
