Finally got it. New '11 G37X owner

After browsing this forum for close to two years, I finally decided to get the car.

2011. G37X Coupe. Blk/blk - prem/nav.

As someone whose never driven a RWD before, let alone an AWD, any tips on handling this beast in the ever changing Chicago weather? Rain, sleet, snow - sometimes all in the same day.

I pick her up tomorrow morning. So excited. First non-Pontiac I've ever owned lol

Here's a crappy photo I snagged with mY 3GS. I can take some more with my Rebel - though I'm sure you guys know what the car looks like.

Congrads! Just drive it around and get used to it. It's a fun car and has a lot of control.

congrats on the car!

just be careful in the snow. being AWD, you will be fine in the snow. my AWD sedan was a monster, no issues. just dont let it make you feel over confident

Where are you picking it up from? I'm going to the Orland location to show my buddy my wheels tomorrow.

Infiniti Chicago on LaSalle in River North. I live in the burbs but I work on Michigan Ave - so it just kinda made sense to buy in the city.

Gonna open that bad boy up on West Ohio St as I make my way to 94 around 1045 AM lol

I never actually had a car slide on me, at least not that I remember. I need to practice some in a parking lot. I don't really drive like crazy at all - most of you would consider me a boring driver so I don't imagine i'll be fish tailing too much.

But basically... if making a left and the *** fish tails, turn the wheel right and give it a little gas? lol

That's good to hear. Did you put winter tires on? I think I may invest in them depending on how I do in the first snow storm. First RWD car.
