IPL Owners!

Wassup guys,
I wanted to ask if you guys noticed any differences in the IPL vs. a regualr coupe with S package? If there is a noticeable difference, I'd like to get the IPL.
Thanks guys

I did test drive them one right after the other. I couldn't tell you if the S had the sport suspension or not though. Both my wife and I like the way the IPL handled far better. As far as get up and go, I didn't really notice a difference but I did notice the sound. The IPL definately has a great sound. There were many things I like better abouth the IPL over the S (red leather, wheels, aero package etc), the main one being I bought the IPL with 1,200 miles on it and paid less for it than an S model. All that being said, if you are going to lower the car, change the rims and exhaust the IPL is a waste. You might as well get the S.

Malbec Black. I love the color even though I swore I wouldn't buy another black car. It turns purple in the sun though and I get tons of comments on the color. I just clean the car once a week with touch ups in between. I paid 46k plus got 15k for a trade in I had.

I love that color too...saw it n the maximas and thought I want it. Although I think the max is a little more on the purple side than the G. Thanks for all the info, it really helps.

Coilovers and sways on any G will make it handle far better than an IPL. Still can't get over that HIDEOUS rear bumper.

Carfan23, the haters come out of the wood work anytime you talk about IPL's. Get used to it. I have 2 Rubicon Jeeps so I was already well prepared.

I saw several IPLs on the road and I loved the way they looked. They did a great job on the bodykit... it looks really sexy stock already.

Only thing I would do is get tint, sways, coilover and spacers and I'd be set!

lol I see members stand on diff sides on this debate but thats kinda the fun of it. How much would coilovers and sways cost with installation for those that have them?

alot of members here run the KW v3 coils, heard nothing but praises for them, but personally, since the G is japanese, ill run nothing but JDM parts for the car, like the tein ss-p/flex/monoflex, tanabe, jic, or HKS! but i cant say which one is better then the other cuz i myself havent tried any of them yet, im saving up for some coils too right now!
