I am surprised nobody has said Nismo. I may be wrong but thought the brand would be big with the G. Maybe only the Z?

op...

this video is vu37's gemini setup on a coupe... it's got resonated test pipes so it's a little louder than the invidia with stock cats...

Infiniti G37 Cold Start MXP Invidia Gemini Vu37 - YouTube

but this video is close to what it sounds like IRL.

Yah, its the one i found. Sounds great, add another one to my confusion. I hope i can find a shop where i can see all different exhausts before i buy. I know what sound im not looking for, but dont exactly know what im searching for. So far ive liked the Fast, Ark, gemini. I think maybe Ark is winning because of looks. Is it wrong to assume that all these exhausts will provide me with the same HP gains?

LOL, after reading you comment i almost pee'd myself when i got to your "its baller status". That seems pricey, but is it really the best? Plus you're saying 700 for axleback, what would be the cost for the full? 1200-1300? When compared to other brands is it that much more?

Full Impul exhaust is over $4,000. "Baller status" is relative...

Welcome aboard man! Word to the wise: modding could end up being a very slippery slope.. but definitely one u'd enjoy falling into

IMO: amongst intakes: Stillen.. amongst exhausts, FastIntentions.. headers aren't worth the $$ n test pipes aren't worth the trouble..

Finally, the 'search' button knows all.....

Enjoy!

Tanabe exhaust is fantastic and looks and sounds amazing. Nobody disputes this. It is slightly expensive compared to some other options, but still less than most of the high quality well known JDM full exhausts available for the G. Limited availability is an issue though.

I don't think it's available yet for 2nd Gen G's just yet, but a friend just put a Motordyne full system on his 1st Gen sedan and it's sexy.

Thanks man! Yes, ill skip headers..after reading some of the old threads i realized that it seems like a waste of money. I dont think ill get intakes only because my future plan is to get a S/C, unless youre able to keep the same with a Stillen s/c kit?

No the intakes won't help u if ur getting a S/C kit (they have their own intakes).. And since ur planning for an S/C kit, take a look at GTM's kits too (they have a stage 1 and stage 2 kit with more power). Everyone who's had it so far seem to like it...

I also remember an excellent thread here once comparing the two, can't remember the name though, so u might wana search for that one too
