Ok, so Riverside Manheim, Lease return, 22,500 wholesale price, 39k miles, average condition (aka not great, not bad), graphite, Auto, 6 cylinder gas engine....

Your point?

This is a wholesale price for wholesalers with a wholesaler's license, and is NOT ready to be sold.

Still need to do safety, smog, and all work necessary to meet regulations...

There's at best, a weak correlation between auction prices and actual prices.

The fact that this even made it to an public auction just shows that EVERY SINGLE local infiniti dealer passed on the car for some reason.

End of the day it shouldnt be more than 23. I can take it off the lot at that price, just saying my budget range isnt unreasonable

Best of luck to you, sir.

That's neither a car I would buy for myself, nor a car I would recommend any of my friends to buy.

re-read my post above.

Third party extended warranties are worthless.

I guess it also depends where you live but CA car prices seem to be a lot higher than others. Not to mention the sales tax and fees in CA.. Good deal if you got it for 27,000 out the door then.

Luck of the draw, but if it made it to a public auction, then it's because no dealer wanted to certify the car.

You're in the minority if you've had a BMW without any significant downtime.

+1,000,000

Third party warranties are generally not even worth the paper they're written on.

I test drove an 08 sedan with the 5AT and loved the way it shifted and drove. Almost bought it, but saw a dealer driven 09 and bought it instead, without hardly any test drive. I love my car, but sure wish I had that 5AT. It's a faster feeling ride. The 7AT is too slow to shift sometimes. MPG - maybe 1-2 MPG difference, not really a consideration in the 18-20 MPG city arena.
