Extended Warranty Prices...

Hey Guys,

I have a 2008 G37S that I recently purchased. It has 21,900 miles on it, but the warranty expires in February 2012. I sent Infiniti an email about this through the website, and they said they would contact me with the options available. Anyone have any input on the different options with the extended warranty, and/or suggestions? Thanks.

google "infiniti elite warranty"

There are several Infiniti dealers online that sell it for a discount. I used their price and my local dealer matched it.

I'm making an assumption here .... Regardless of where I buy the Elite Extended Warranty, any Infiniti dealership has to honor it, correct?

I paid $1382 for 8yrs/100K/$100ded. IIRC that was exactly $100 over cost. This was back in december last year.

This was for the infiniti elite care, purchased at time of vehicle purchase.

Once the 4 yr/60K basic coverage expires, yes. It's $100 per visit, not per issue. Mainly, I got it due to the vast amount of electronics in this car.

They do offer options with 0 deductibles too, but those cost more. For this level of coverage, I think it was another $330 for the $0 ded. option.

I was told I could get the warranty at new car prices so long as car has less than 6K miles or it's still under 6 months old. After that a different pricing structure kicks in.

Also, I was that either march 1st or april 1st, new extended warranty pricing takes effect.

i just purchased mine from circle infiniti in jersey (looked up infiniti elite warranty on google and they came up as offering a good deal), got a 4yr/48,00mi warranty with no deductable for 1,381 (i have 36,000 on my car, and the less miles on the car, the cheaper they offer the insurance)

The question being, is an extended warranty worth it?
