Just noticed there is a gap between the front splash guard and the fender of the car. Gap is present on both sides of the car. Splash guard has been on for about 8 months. Is this normal?

Are there any double sided tape under the front splash guards or just two screws?

Please see picture. I'm curious what others look like.

Should be screwed in and have tape under that. Mine has a tiny gap. I frequently find a strand grass in the little crevice.

 

too much gap IMO. mine is flush.
