Ok.Minnesota law dosen't allow anything more than 50% tint on cars. It sucks but it is what it is. A lot of folks have told me not to waste the money. Well..I decided to give it a go and I think the 50% turned out pretty good. The film I had installed was LLumar CTX at 50%. It makes a HUGE difference on the inside of the car from a look and heat feel. It has been hot here the past couple of days and the difference with the film is very noticeable. Thanks to the gang at Solar Shield Window Tinting in Savage, MN. A 1st class experience Just wanted to share.
looks ok, but as long as you enjoy it thats all that matters!
yes! exactly its your car! do what you like. i think 50 would be great for those that want to keep the stock look while still keeping the inside cool on those hot days
Tint looks good to me. I used to go dark when I was younger but now prefer the look of barely tinted cars. Lighter tint looks classier and the women can still check you out with the windows up.
I am with you 100%. I would like to go a little darker just for looks, but so far I am very happy with hte result. I was suprised of how much difference it makes from an interior heat perspective.

Keeping in mind I have only had my G37 couple for a few weeks and I see very few of them on the road.. One went by me on the way to work and I thought.."man that is a damn sexy car"..Then realized I own one! It felt good. It has to be the nicest looking sport coupe out there.
