They broke into my G!
^ I agree.
I always tell everyone to keep one in the chamber, no matter if they keep it at home or take it with them. It does not take .02 of a second to chamber it, especially in a high stress situation. In a case where you need to pull it out and use it, that second it would take you to chamber it, you could already be dead. If you're going to carry a gun, be proficient with it. 5 rules I tell everyone
#1. Practice not only shooting, but also drawing from a holster and going on target, also going back to holster once threat is eliminated and you are sure no other threats exist (reason for this is coming up in #3)
#2. Know when you are allowed to threaten deadly force, and know when you are allowed to use deadly force.
#3 In case you do use it, know what to do before you contact any law enforcement officers who will be responding to shooting someone.
#4 Keep your firearm secured and away from children or any places children could access it. Be responsible with your firearm by being accountable for it every second of every minute of every hour of every day of your life. NEVER leave it in a car.
#5 Be sure of yourself and your abilities (see #1). Be ready to take someone's life if you take on the responsibility of being a responsible gun owner and a law abiding citizen.
Remember, cops are only minutes away when seconds count. The 911 system is severely lagged and sometimes it takes the police a whole minute to even get dispatched to a call, and that is not including drive time to get there, which could be as little as a half a minute, up to ten minutes, depending on where you live.

Call me f#CKED in the head but I just purchased a home and moved into a new neighborhood. I make sure that every morning when I walk to the car and every night when I get home from work my neighbors and everyone in the surrounding area see me carrring my Glock 23 into the car and the house! I have motion lights all around my house. If a squirl farts I will know it! We put way to much love and money into these cars for some f-ing scumbag to steal from us. I HATE THEIVES! Sorry bro. I wish I was your neighbor cause someone would be walking around with an extra hole in their ***. By the way I live in NY and a permit is required for concealed carry. It took me almost a year to get it. And my brother is a Ny state trooper for christ sake.

Dont need your rules bro. I am well aware of firearm safety. That would be why I have a concealed carry permit in New York state. Not something easy to come by. The response to his post was to put a little humor in the situation for him considering it is a ****ty situation. I am sure he isn't looking for firearm safety 101 from you.

Is that in the heat of the moment one may not think right and just blast the mother ****er, especially in the middle of the night. I kept one in the chamber because you should not pull it out unless you are not planning to use it. My wife and kids are now leaving in Virginia, so i am solo at home. I have to stay in jersey because of my job and my state and city pension is not transferable. There is no safety on glocks, I have the law enforcement edition.
The crime out here is out of control. The laws are for the criminals not for hard working folks like us, especially when I see my tax forms and I see that I pay over $33k in federal tax last year.
What a ****ing toolbag you are. There is always one in the group. Another goofy bastard talking **** behind a keyboard. It was a joke dumbass..The kid had his car broken into and you come back with the five rules I tell everyone. No one gives a rats *** about your 5 rule bro. You follow your rules and I will protect my property and my family.

who the **** here ever shot anybody with anything while they were getting robbed?
We are idiots in this country. Our reasonable response is so out of whack. Really, if you want to come over and steal the stereo and whatever else is in the car, knock yourself out. I'm not buying a weapon to "protect my property". I will call the police and/or get an alarm for some early warning. Even if I had a weapon, caught the guy, then what? He takes off with your stuff and you are going to KILL SOMEONE over that? You will never sleep right again. I believe it was the Wall St Journal that interviewed all 50 deadly shooting situations for shop owners in the New York area. All 50 said they would never have shot if they could go back and would have just given them the money. Two commited suicide within 5 years.
Besides, I'm confused, wouldn't fixing the bullet holes in your car be expensive too? This is a scary thread.

Seriously? You mean the people I read about all the time kicking peoples ****ing doors in and coming in there homes with guns? Happens all the time bro. Unless you live in mayberry that is. It was meant as a joke to lighten up the situation for the poor ****ing kid that just got robbed.
There is no law enforcement edition Glock. None of them have external safeties.
Lol you are so smart and it shows. Name calling and **** talking behind the keyboard? Only coming from you internet tough guy..I mean...BRO. Now go show your little Glock to your neighbors, maybe they will be impressed.
Now let me educate you.
People busting into your house with guns = home invasion.
People busting into your house when you're not home = burglary.
People breaking into your car = burglary from vehicle.
People taking **** from you at gun point = robbery.
Know what you're talking about before you open your mouth.
And people don't bust into people's homes with guns unless they know for a fact there is a large quantity of drugs or cash in there, or unless it's a case of mistaken identity. 99.9% of the time, these "victims" of home invasion are drug dealers getting ripped off by other drug dealers. Unless you're selling drugs or are into other shady ****, you have less than .01% chance of getting your home home invaded by armed intruders.
